The Mavs ManiAACs

The ManiAACs, originally created to enhance the game experience for fans during the 2002 playoffs, became instant fan favorites who have continued to add to the festive environment of Mavs games and other special events including three All-Star performances in 2005, 2010 and in 2016.

The Mavs ManiAACs have also appeared nationally on “The Tonight Show” and “The Best Damn Sport Show Period.” And in the summer of 2010, you caught them on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, where they went all the way to the live Hollywood round and the top 48!

The ManiAACs are active in the community, making numerous public appearances throughout the Metroplex.

Dallas Stars Ice Girls

The Dallas Stars launched their inaugural Ice Girls team during their 2002 season.

The sole purpose was to help maintain an exceptional playing surface throughout Stars games at American Airlines Center. The Ice Girls were responsible for clearing away the accumulation of snow around the goal and boards in less than 2 minutes.

During the next few seasons, the role of the Ice Girls expanded from ice maintenance to include team promotions and community events. Live choreographed dance was introduced during the games from a platform in the arena. The dancing element brought a new-found interest from across the Metroplex.
